How the yearly rate becomes official
Estimate: running average of the last CNB rate in each of the 12 months (Section 38(1) ZDP).
Confirmed: each spring GFR publishes the official rate (Pokyn GFR, e.g. D-66); the badge flips and links to the source PDF.

All rates come from Czech National Bank (Ceska narodni banka), the official central bank. CNB publishes daily fixing rates for 33 currencies around 14:30 CET on business days.

Methodology

Rates are shown exactly as CNB publishes them (3-decimal precision). The yearly jednotný kurz follows section 38 paragraph 1 ZDP and Pokyn GFR D-59 — the average of the last published rate in each of the twelve calendar months. Full methodology →
