How the yearly rate becomes official

All rates come from Czech National Bank (Ceska narodni banka), the official central bank. CNB publishes daily fixing rates for 33 currencies around 14:30 CET on business days.

Methodology

Rates are shown exactly as CNB publishes them (3-decimal precision). The yearly jednotný kurz follows section 38 paragraph 1 ZDP and Pokyn GFR D-59 — the average of the last published rate in each of the twelve calendar months. Full methodology →
